Cultural Wedding Ceremonies
As more and more interfaith and intercultural marriages become the norm in Australia, the latest ceremony trend is to have two ceremonies. For example, one Anglican ceremony and one Hindu ceremony, or one Australian ceremony and one traditional Japanese ceremony.
Guests are invited to attend both ceremonies with individual wedding programs provided to each guest, explaining the meaning and significance of the different cultures and religions.
Each side of the Bride and Groom's family celebrate the wedding ceremony in their own traditional styles, bringing together the Bride and Groom and families as one.
Brides change their gowns and accessories for each ceremony location and style.
