Location:            South Australia

Wedding Date:   February 2008

Ceremony:         Longview Vineyard

Reception:          Longview Vineyard

Having met through friends at the Henley Food & Wine Festival, Mark instantly new he had found his true soul mate and proposed to his bride-to-be at a sunset dinner on the balcony of a gorgeous restaurant overlooking the breathtaking Santorini Greek Islands, with a stunning princess cut solitaire Tiffany & Co diamond engagement ring.

Two years later and after twelve months of planning their dream wedding, the boys arrived in a stretch limousine, shortly followed by Kym, making her magnificent entrance in a classic white jag and wearing an elegant ivory silk chiffon, beaded lace, and vintage inspired Suzanna Lucci gown.

With her beautiful bridesmaids in their silver Third Millennium dresses from Lisa Ho in Sydney perfectly complimenting her vintage gown, the picturesque outdoor ceremony at Longview Vineyards began.

Surrounded by a delicate carpet of  rose petals and holding a bouquet of succulents, Kym could not take her eyes of Mark in his classic Hombre Menswear suit, as they exchanged their heart felt vows.

With the formalities over, 160 guests from interstate and overseas were treated to a night of celebration at Longview Vineyards, where delicate fairy lights provided by Lush Lighting provided the perfect romantic ambience of this special occasion.

A three tier, white iced chocolate mud cake was the perfect finishing touch to a day filled with lots of love and happiness all round.

Glenn Hawke Photography was there to exquisitely capture every precious memory. Having seen her girlfriend's wedding photos that had been taken by Glenn, Kym only considered Glenn as the wedding photographer to capture the natural, unstaged and spontaneous memories of their dream day!  Having Glenn as the wedding photographer was such an important part of their wedding that the wedding date was actually chosen to correspond with a date that Glenn was available.

The newlyweds soon after embarked on an adventure holiday, trekking in the Himalayas Annapurra region, followed by a relaxing week of pampering in the tropical Maldives.

Kym's one piece of advice to couples planning their wedding:

Relax and enjoy your day…take a moment to really appreciate all the planning and work involved in creating your special day, enjoy the wonderful people in the room and drink lots of champagne!”
